Welcome to the Zoo - otherwise known as a facility to store animals from all parts of the world

in one place for the enjoyment of Muggles. When at the zoo you must only admire the

creatures and ensure not to feed them. If you feed them without permission you will be

escorted outside of the zoo. If you are outside the zoo you won’t be able to see the animals. Do

not be kicked out of the zoo.

There are all types of animals in the zoo, from big grey elephants to small little butterflies.

When you are visiting the butterflies ensure to wear your summer robes as it is hot in there!

Please don’t swat or kill the butterflies as it makes Muggles sad and angry, believe it or not

these coloured moths are an attraction. Generally you don’t find sheep or livestock at the zoo,

however you may find them at your local kebab store, although they will be the food, not the

attraction. There are many ways to get to the zoo, the most commonly used means of transport

are trams and trains. Some common types of people you may find at the zoo include families,

zookeepers and tourists to Melbourne…like you. I guess you will fit right in as a tourist - not

animal of course.

Pro-tip- Elephants don’t like to be called smellyphants and a rabbit will always be faster than a

tortoise.
