The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (or more popularly known as ACMI) is located in

the heart of Melbourne at Federation Square. ACMI features exhibitions on filmmakers, actors,

Australian Cinema and much more - ACMI even has special programs for kids! There is a

collection of historical film and sound that ACMI shares with the State Library and Cafes and

Bars onsite. Though the idea of a ‘moving image’ may not be that special to you as even your

photographs move - for Muggles this is an art form that is practiced by many and appreciated

by many more.
